The HEP group at IIT Kanpur is organizing an in-house symposium on the 2nd & 3rd of February, 2024.  Join us!

• Welcome, Dr. Apratim Kaviraj  to our group as an assistant professor.  Dr. Apratim's research is primarily dedicated to conformal bootstrap and critical phenomena.

• Welcome, Dr. Sanmay Ganguly to our group as an assistant professor. Dr. Ganguly is an experimental high energy physicist and a leading expert in machine learning techniques.

• Upalaparna Banerjee has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdocs. Congratulations, Upala!

• Suraj Prakash (Graduate Student) received a postdoctoral offer from IFIC, Valencia. 

• Welcome, Dr. Swagata Mukherjee  to our group as an assistant professor. Dr. Swagata's research is primarily dedicated to High-level trigger in collider experiments, Particle-flow reconstruction in CMS, Data scouting, Dark photon search, R-parity violating SUSY search, Long-lived particle and Machine learning.  

• Shakeel Ur Rahaman (Graduate Student) received a postdoctoral offer from IPPP, Durham.  

• Bidyut Dey (Graduate Student) received a postdoctoral offer from INFN, Cosenza.
